Heat-loving annual, which is grown through seedlings. Seeds germinate at the optimum temperature of +20+30°C within 10 days. Plant out outdoors when danger of frost has passed. Prefers rich, light soils, sunny location.
The herb is used for medicinal purposes. In dry sunny weather, before flowering or during flowering, plant shoots 10-14 cm long are harvested, dried in the shade in well-ventilated places. For the entire growing season, cutting is repeated two or three times.
